For me, it's paperwork confusion. Until now, I never understood which documents actually matter. Or how much weight each one carries. Browsing is the other problem. Most platforms are just another marketplace. The validation is on me. Not on them. And from the diaspora, that's almost impossible. I can't fly down to check every paper. I'm trusting photos and voice notes with my savings. But honestly, it's not just us abroad. Even people living in Nigeria get burned. On ground, you still can't easily tell which listing is real, or which agent to trust. These platforms weren't built for any of us. That's why I'm building Terrain. So validation becomes the platform's job. Not yours.
