@cvhdavidblues But we have a huge Greggs opening at the Circle roundabout. We are getting gentrified
Sutton, London 🇬🇧 English

@hackbridgeharry Doh I’m thinking of Mitcham with the flashness of multiple Lidls. Hackbridge can only dream of a second one arriving.
English

@hackbridgeharry Oh I would absolutely love to next time I'm back home! Been literally years since I've got to imperial. I'll have to let you know!
English

All the arsenal bandwagoning talk has reminded me that when Blur and their clique got semi performatively into football in 1994ish* they actually picked Chelsea. Alan McGee got a box at the Bridge an everything. Mad to me cos I kinda forgot they existed before Abramovic

Read The Last Party on holiday, about Britpop and its intersection with New Labour, and it made me very glad that UK music is dead so nothing like that can ever happen again (though JCorbz certainly tried). Imagine Andy Burnham turning up at a Westside Cowboy gig

@AaronBastani @benitopacketo Real men have curves
Sutton, London 🇬🇧 English

@benitopacketo Ridiculous. A decent range of body fat % are on display, from 7-13%.

@domdyer70 @GREY2KUSA @GreenPartyHan @ZackPolanski That is disgraceful. Those poor dogs. The human beings involved should be prosecuted
English

This is why this disgusting cruel sport should be banned across Britain @GreenPartyHan @ZackPolanski
Shamefully racing took place today in extreme heat at Dunstall Park, Harlow, Doncaster and Sunderland. Temperatures rose above 33°C in the UK today and despite advice from real vets and leading animal charities advising people to keep their dogs out of the heat, the dog abusing industry went ahead and allowed racing.

English

@volvicstorm98 It would be good to meet up one day. We seem to have a fair bit in common. Pop over to Tooting next season if you get a chance

@hackbridgeharry Proper fan. Football in general was more edgy back then wasnt it. I obviously wasn't there but I always think the sanitisation through the 90s was mostly a shame, but kinda necessary. Things could've got very dark after the late 80s. But would much rather hear your opinion
English

@thesundaysport @JoaniReid I enjoy history, especially the relationship between England and the Scots. Bannockburn, Culloden, Stirling Bridge. All close run things. The fact that a camper van and some fucking fountain pens has set back Scots independence by decades is rather fucking funny
Sutton, London 🇬🇧 English

@JoaniReid 'We've got the test results back, Mr Murrell. I'm afraid to say you've got a bad case of being a common thief'
English

The Peter Murrell case is extremely serious. More than £400,000 taken from SNP funds over many years is a grave breach of trust.
But the nature of the spending does not read like ordinary financial pressure or simple greed. It does not even read like normal criminal self-enrichment.
It reads like a man in real difficulty, struggling with something serious.
There is no joy in any of it.

@TheBlueBeatRoom @GoonerGirl1969 Best football night of my life. I was there as well.
I love the club but was priced out years ago, An old dinosaur who couldn't get us to leaving Highbury either.
But what a memory to have !!!!
Sutton, London 🇬🇧 English

@GoonerGirl1969 @hackbridgeharry I was there too, I knew back in '89 it would never be bettered. It still gives me goosebumps when I watch clips of the game 😎

@volvicstorm98 Arsenal before that fucking book Fever Pitch was far more edgy than ever admitted, Punks, Soul Boys, Jazz Funk, Dub and Lovers Rock was the sound track for us Clock End boys, always multi cultural and the best dressed firm in London.
Ask your Grandads, They know.

@CrowleyOnAir @BBCRadioLondon Afternoon from Hastings GC
I will go for Dat by Pluto Shervington. You could stock a whole supermarket from that number.
Blasting out like all the old reggae classics a sure sign of summer in the back garden.
