@HitDaFloor20 I do both too, this is moreso in reference to a FB artist alley group I’m in. I’ve seen two people this week specifically mention vending @ FWA & not being a furry or having art for it, asking what sells best that they can draw quickly 🫩

Disappointing increase of anime artists getting into furcons while actual furry artists get denied for years. It’s really demeaning to see them post subtly how they’re excited for the money, but dislike furries themselves.

It’s so much easier to get footing in anime/comic cons and the ratio of events is near 100:1 fur con. I genuinely wish these spaces were given to passionate community members instead. I say it every year, because I keep seeing the same cycle.
