Hard to believe the Waitrose story re the shoplifters.
Another PR own goal after the poor lad not given a contract after working for free for some time. He was later given a contract, of course.
We used to chase shoplifters over car parks and in to the nearby terraced streets.

I’ve purchased several “tins” of Heinz (British) beans because the idea of beans on toast intrigues me.
I eagerly anticipate a tasting.
Other than toasting bread and heating beans…

Appears that Chagos give away is off. Starmer misled Parliament. Within the bundle used to justify giving away the Isles along with £35 billion was a document which clearly states that the Chagos Isles would remain unaffected by all legal judgements. Starmer hid it...
