Didn't you always want to design with the real stuff? We did too! So we have been working on it - Designing with design systems link.medium.com/oJABPmLzF6 A lot has changed in this new release. Check it out at hadron.app/updates

@HiShahadat Hey Shahadat, yes we're alive and well! We collected enough feedback and decided to go silent until we have a great first version. We would've liked to go faster, but we prioritize the product above anything else. Thanks for your patience 🙏🏽

@epicmonotype Hi! That's the approach we believe in, using the actual standard as the source of truth. We had to stop for a while, but fortunately, we've been doing good progress lately

@MrBrianHinton We are! At the development/experimenting stage still, so we don't write much here. Making a lot of progress lately, amazing changes on the way!

@DyeggoMore Yes, it is! Instead of making smaller incremental updates, this time we are working on a major update. It'll take us some more time!

@hadronapp is still on development? I haven’t seen any update/movement in the last 3-4 months, don’t let it die it’s really a good idea...

I'm super conflicted about auto-layout in @figmadesign. On the one hand, it allows me to save tons of clicks and time. On the other hand, my files have never been messier, less constrained, and I regularly lose flow to fix things that don't make sense. Anyone else?

👋 Since last week, we've made a few releases worth mentioning with: Infinity canvas size, measuring distances pressing ALT, pixel grid, new shortcuts and more! extra info at hadron.app/updates

@joehenry We could do something like that by using the Native File System API. It's on our plans to use it, but it's still under development. Compiling in the browser is another possibility, but not on our plans ATM. We believe that creating UIs should be simpler than that!

@hadronapp ...so you could have css output directly to chrome project dir, OR would it be possible with a command in the Hadron project package.json? Would be super cool if you could have Hadron run NPM commands on triggers from there.

@hadronapp do you think it's possible at the present moment to get Hadron working with a configured version of tailwindcss.com ? Any tips on how one would go about having the re-compiled CSS from PostCSS output to Hadron?

@joehenry It looks that there is an issue with unescaped rule selectors coming from class names. That is making the selector picker not to work when using tailwind. We'll push a fix as soon as possible

@joehenry Once you have your configured compiled version as a CSS file, you can load it into your project. The complete tailwind stylesheet is huge though. You'll need to remove unused class before going to production on your own.

@joehenry @tailwindui That looks really good. Would be a great addition to our design systems for sure!

@MrBrianHinton We don't support Safari at this moment though. It should've displayed a message telling so. We'll check that. Thanks for the details

@argyleink 🖐️We do. It's not the full list, but there are many and it might already look like too much. Fortunately, we can filter out the ones that won't matter to the selection!

Which design tool will be first to offer some of these CSS pseudo class for designers to provide a state for? 🧐 :empty :focus-within :focus-visible :visited :lang() :dir() :placeholder-shown :indeterminate :optional, :required, :blank :fullscreen :checked

@tomjohndesign @figmadesign I played around with the @hadronapp beta for a bit and people don’t realize just how much it is like @figmadesign and @sketch but with ALL the powers of HTML/CSS. It felt so freeing. There is a learning curve and it needs some UX work, but it works!
