Cartoon Network being owned by a benevolent, eccentric, cartoon-loving hillbilly billionaire with a hands-off policy towards creatives up until about 2003 explains so much honestly

Pragmata hit me way harder than I ever expected. It started off so simple, nothing flashy or over the top. Just a dad and his robo daughter walking and talking about what family really means. How even if you're not related by blood, people can come together in the hardest times and grow to care for each other so deeply that they become family. It’s not the blood that binds us, it’s the bond, the quiet choice to show up every single day. The way the game shows you the weight of loving a child… God, it wrecked me. Those tiny smiles, those little dreams, how something so small can completely shift an adult’s entire world. Watching Hugh go from this carefree guy who just showed up to finish a job, to a man who would walk through hell itself for his little girl, it was written so beautifully I don’t even have the words. You feel that sense of responsibility settle into your chest without even noticing it at first. Pragmata is a love letter to every parent who’s ever loved their kids to the point of exhaustion, to the point of tears, to the point where nothing else matters as much. It made me appreciate my own parents so much more, because now I understand a little better what they carried all those years. It also reminded me of the pure, ridiculous fun of being a parent, the silly games, the uncontrollable laughter, the way your heart swells when they look up at you like you hung the moon. That mix of heavy responsibility and light, joyful chaos is what makes it all so real and so worth it. Thank you, Capcom. I wasn’t ready for how deeply this game would touch me.

Meanwhile the women on twitter call men PDFs for just looking at a clip...
