Very naive of me but up until a few years ago I really just assumed that all doctors got paid ££££££ because…they’re doctors? Why wouldn’t they be paid a lot? Wasn’t until junior doctors started striking that I looked into it and I still can’t believe it. What a disgrace.

I just end up doing things myself, even physically taking patients to X-ray/ct, changing the bed, obs etc, which I don’t mind doing but it takes up a lot more of my time
