I believe you mistake rhetoric vs intent. There is zero intention to eliminate the Iranian/Persian people. There is a major intent to get the current regime to either abandon their nuclear weapons or face the consequences. When a regime is responsible for over thousands of deaths and injuries of Americans and they wake up every day chanting Death to America, having a Nuclear Bomb is unacceptable. They threaten their neighbors and want to also wipe Israel off the face of the Earth. Multiple Presidents have said they can’t have Nuclear Weapons, but they were all weak. Trump has been saying this since 1980. His view has not changed. He loves the Iranian people, but not the crazy regime. He is very sensitive to the fact that thousands of innocent young people have been killed by this regime. It will end and the Iranian people can take their country back and the Middle East can be peaceful again.
