𝗔 𝗝𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝗠𝘆 𝗟𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗔𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗰𝘀 On Saturday, 30th August 2025, I embarked on a journey to Ibadan with my colleague, Danjuma Abdulmajeed, for the coverage of the Forerunners Welfare Foundation's NextGen-Ideate Graduation Ceremony.

This journey to Ibadan was far more than an assignment, it was a turning point that revived my passion for academics, strengthened my commitment to mentorship, and deepened my resolve to keep learning and growing.

On Monday, 1st September 2025, as we bid farewell to Dr. Tunji Owoseni before his return to Ilorin, he once again shared invaluable lectures, tips, and historical insights that continued to inspire and enrich us.

The program was a success, and we witnessed firsthand the transformative impact of mentorship. It reinforced in me the value of guidance, networks, and shared experiences in shaping the next generation of leaders.

Rekindling my long-term goal of becoming Prof. Abdulsalam Isah Peace someday. The following day, Sunday, 31st August 2025, we delivered on our assignment at the NextGen-Ideate event, a vibrant mentoring initiative designed to foster both personal and professional growth.

These included pursuing a Master’s degree in a chosen specialty, undertaking an MBA to expand my professional network, or applying for research scholarships for global exposure. Allahu Akbar (Allah is the Greatest)! That brief conversation ignited within me a renewed aspiration.

In a simple walk from our hotel to a restaurant, he shared insights that reshaped my outlook on academics and career growth. He emphasized the opportunities available to me as a Computer Scientist with expertise in design, visual storytelling, and media operations management.
