Fourth grade ELLs accessed prior knowledge, read multiple sources on the same topic, and reflected on new learning. They used new knowledge and additional research to create a feature article showcasing their learning with the supports of graphic organizers and teacher example.

1st grade ELs have been studying countries. They will present their hard work to their parents at Student Showcase this week! 9 countries represented with this group!

Check out our Measure Monsters! Ss measured body parts in inches then made their monsters their own by adding additional features, color, and details!

Ss had fun today combining coding & story sequence. We read There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed a 🪱, then Ss had to lay out pictures from the story and code the mouse to drive over them in order. @angiewiegers @MBRoadrunners @NKCSchools #nkclibraries
