When I was younger, I had this grand idea that I’d break free from poverty and not have to worry about the amount of food in my house or if the lights would cut off. My house that has food that I love, my house where the lights don’t cut off, my house where the furniture isn’t getting repossessed due to non-payment. Sex work and the independent porn industry allowed me to achieve financial stability and… peace! A peace so solid that the most annoying part of my day lately (outside of anti-porn legislation) is mowing my yard.
