Scout is a Grok powered robot caretaker built with Grok Code. It runs on a Raspberry Pi, with Grok acting as the brain behind the system. Instead of just sitting in a chat window, Scout is being built as an embodied AI that has to interact with the real world and look after something alive. Its first responsibility is Biscuit, my female crested gecko. Scout is being designed to manage and monitor the things Biscuit depends on every day: food, water, humidity, enclosure temperature, routines, sensor data and survival conditions. The next stage is adding more enclosure sensors, better automation, camera monitoring, live data, and eventually 24 hour streaming so people can watch Scout and Biscuit’s setup evolve in real time. Another cool thing i plan to do for scout is get a 24/7 live stream going where you can watch Scout look after biscuit in real time will be even more interesting when scout gets a small pair of arms or claws to have the ability to manually clean up or even hold biscuit
