『透明ドローン?』
塗装で隠すのではなく、機体全体を高速回転させ、人間の目には背景に溶ける薄いぼかしのように見せる。

A robotic hand that learns from humans! 🪬
@mimicrobotics built a robotic hand, the M1, that actually works for real manufacturing jobs.
They designed it to match how humans move.
Most robot learning starts with watching videos of people doing tasks, then tries to transfer that to a completely different robot body with different joints and fingers. It fails constantly.
The steps don't map. The gripper doesn't move like a human hand.
mimic solved it backwards. They built a wearable exoskeleton (the U1) that has the exact same structure as their robotic hand.
When a human wears it and demonstrates a task, the data captures real finger movements that transfer directly to the robot.
The hand itself is tendon-driven, motors live in the forearm and pull cables through the fingers like actual muscles do. This lets them pack more durable actuators in the forearm instead of cramming everything into the palm.
The hand can sense forces down to 50 grams through the motor current. It feels when something's about to slip and adjusts grip automatically.
Fifteen degrees of freedom. Twenty-one joints. Built to survive years of production work.
They built everything in-house. Hardware. Firmware. The custom software that runs the control loops at insanely low latency. The data pipeline from demonstration to deployment. Nothing outsourced.
Congrats @stefan_weirich, @elvisnavah! 👏🏼
