Every year, women across the UK die by suicide after prolonged abuse masked as “honour”. Honour and Forced Suicide is a serious form of male violence against women and girls. On 13 May at MMU, we will be demanding justice and pushing for legal reform. #BreakingTheSilence #VAWG

🚨 More victims of domestic abuse are dying by suicide than being killed by a partner, yet only 3% of abusers in these cases have faced charges. These deaths are not inevitable. They are preventable. And they must not be ignored. #VAWG #JusticeMatters

Last week, we attended the 20-year anniversary event of the Forced Marriage Unit at the FCDO in London. A powerful gathering of survivors, frontline voices and sector leaders. A moving reminder of how far we’ve come and how far we still need to go. #EndForcedMarriage
