As a HW3 FSD owner:
This “stop asking questions, just distill it later” attitude is total nonsense. In other countries where we can’t even use v12 yet, if Tesla sidelines HW3 for the robotaxi foundation model, HW3 will literally never get FSD here.
Tesla sold us the promise on HW3. Deliver it worldwide or admit it.

A wasted question. Let me answer it for you:
First, Tesla needs to figure out which FSD version is the “foundation” model for unsupervised robotaxi. Then they will deploy massive amounts of training compute and staff to distill that foundation model down onto HW3.
Before we see robotaxis deployed in the thousands unsupervised, people really need to stop asking questions like this.

Tesla owes me €6.800. And if you're a HW3 + FSD owner, they owe you too. 2019. One of the first Model 3 owners in the Netherlands. Paid for Full Self-Driving. The promise: same hardware, software updates will unlock full autonomy. Just wait. I waited 7 years. SEVEN years! Last week the RDW finally approved FSD here. And for HW3 owners? Nothing. Radio silence. ~4 million cars worldwide. So I stopped waiting and built hw3claim.nl to bundle Dutch HW3 owners for a collective claim. 36 sign-ups in 24 hours. No ads.
