Thanks for sharing dude. I’ve been there. Fwiw - I think you could easily 10x blawgy without “working harder”, just shifting focus to the right things. It’s at, what 10 customers now? So you need roughly 100 customers to hit your goal? Feels very doable to me with the right marketing approach. If I was you, I’d: 1. Pick only one project to focus on. “Multiple side projects” is the kiss of death. You’re already dividing your attention between 9-5 and your side project. Don’t divide it further between multiples. Any of them could be successful, but none will if you give them 10% of your energy. 2. Ask yourself “is the product already good enough to have 100 happy customers?” Not that it’s perfect; but that it solves the problem well enough. If the answer is “no”, you’re still in build mode, seeking PMF. Keep quickly building features until you get there. If the answer is “yes it’s good enough”… 3. Stop writing code. You should be spending 95% of your time on marketing and sales. It’s not the fun part for devs, but it’s what you need to do. Ask AI to think of 20 new marketing channels you haven’t tried yet. Podcast appearances? Cold email? Influencer partnerships? Skool community? Reddit posts? Affiliate program? AI-generated TikTok ads? Email newsletter? Don’t just do the channels that seem fun. Relentlessly experiment until you find some that work. Then double down on them repeatedly. Finetune them. Become world class at them. Learn everything you can about them. If you do that, you can get 100 customers by Christmas.

Lately I've been feeling a sense of failure, burnout, and emptiness. My two main products (blawgy and foodbuddy) both make some fun money (blawgy at ~$600/mo, foodbuddy at $150/mo). Just two weeks ago I signed a contract with a F500 on another old project for $10k/yr. When I type that stuff out I agree it's something to be proud of. But I live in Denver and am at the stage in my life where I want to have a family. I need about 10x the profit I'm making now to sustain my lifestyle. Frankly, it feels unattainable. But as I type that, I hear another voice in my head that says I just need to work harder. I'm not really sure what to do at this point. Is me not giving up what will lead me to success? Or is some form of acceptance with a new approach the wiser option?

The WORST user experience of an product is you cannot cancel your subscription by yourself but have to contact customer support. And I don't think i will use this kind of product again. @play_ht @RingCentral
