I have ₦10 million that I’m not using at the moment. Which investment would you recommend I put it into, or is there a skill I could learn with it?

@MTNNG @AirtelNigeria is worst They should just wrap up. They don't even address the public about their network issue like MTN does.

It's nice to take soft drinks but excessive drinking isn't good. Just for you to know, I lost my dad to diabetes due to his excessive drinking of Pepsi. My dad doesn't take alcohol but he cannot do without drinking a bottle of Pepsi in a day.

Hard work is not and won't be a scam. Even those making it online also put in the hard work. Mind you, there are more people who are not making it online compared to those who are making it. The issue is not hard work, but the nature and type of business you are putting in the hard work. When I was in the poultry business, I did make lots of sales. There is no day I will sleep with a single crate of egg left. I do switch my phone off due to calls from customers. But in truth, there is a limit to that business with regard to explosive growth. I can make more from the business only by investing more capital. Which my profit at that time is not enough. To have enough capital for a good expension, I will need to operate on that small scale for a number of years or get someone to invest in my business... Family or friends. Then, the risk that can take everything away. Or government policy that can overnight cause an increase in operations. Reducing that small profit. I experienced this when I was into the rice business. Was in a factory in Kano state. My bags are being loaded on the car when we had that Buhari has opened the border! Guess what happened to the price of rice? Despite the sleepless nights going from local government to local government. And many other challenges. Look at online business. You have to put in the hard work. But the risk is low. You can easily create more products to release to the market without having to seek a huge capital in most instances. Especially when you have gotten success from the first product. I have seen many come into the YouTube space with little capital, understand the strategies, and get results. Once they understand what works, they can go from zero to $2k in a few months. And then $10k with over 50% profit. With that profit, they can easily invest more. All this can happen within 2 years without seeking investment from anyone. Same with KDP. Understand what works. Keep creating good books to upload. You don't need to seek capital. Same with other online businesses. With AI, it becomes better and faster. Those working online are also hardworking. Without hard work, no one can succeed. But then, what are you doing the hard work on? That is the biggest question. I forgot to add... having the right information is also key. In that potatoes business, there are people making profits in millions every month. It could be because of the chain they run. If you run just selling, limited profit. Farming, selling, better. You add processing, perfect. In my case, when I was running poultry, I went into feed production for my birds. I was able to save some amounts from not buying feeds. Someone advised me and taught me that process. Information is also key. So, work hard and smartly. There is no competition in sweating more.

My uncle has been selling potatoes in this same market for 17 years. Rain or sun, he shows up every single day. No excuses. No soft life. No shortcuts. 17 years later… he’s still struggling. But someone that made money online in 2 years will come here and call him “lazy”. I’m starting to believe hard work is a scam.
