@notcookinsi @Helldivers_NOW Well it’s because Cyborgs were basically just normal Bots with a few new enemies. The Illuminate sub factions have two completely different battlefield environments and actually feel different. So much more satisfying

@The_Noise_13 I have a feeling it wasn’t some intentional ploy. And if it was they’re morons because I don’t know how they think that would go over well with community that already largely hates them. At best it was terrible communication that led to PR disaster.

@bumble_bbgun I also love how they made Caine menacing without removing his whimsy. Like yeah if you look at it without context or depth, it’s a fucking jaw clacker bullying abstract characters. But then you remember they’re imprisoned human brain scans feeling every second of this.

@AndrewZ24597481 I think it’s one of those things where it wouldn’t hurt if we had head options for both in the final kit. Most of them being rounded but then having a couple guys with the Barbute because it’s like an old surplus they’ve had to roll out.

I will say this about the new design. I do like it but I’m not a fan of the Barbute style helmets. I get that it leans into the medieval aesthetic of 40K, but (as evidence by some of their new releases) 40K has a dieselpunk aesthetic which I think serves the Steel Legion better with their original helmets. Either way, it’s cool to see them back.

@miriam_choomie I honestly don’t think either of them are. Both are too prideful to high-tail it and retreat like Rogue did. And I don’t think either of them has what it takes to bring down pre-borged up Adam Smasher. Kurt is doing the most damage though.
