@AussieBenC Later races showed some better lanes out wide (Providence in the Derby was ridden cold, Jmac popped out and whooshed home in about lane 6-7) - may have been the ground closer to the rail after all the rain in the last 48 hours up there. But still, the jocks know the going by lane
Seems very generous getting $4.20 Royal Supremacy at Eagle Farm in the Premier’s Cup…would have thought should start with a 2 in this field peaking 3rd up at his perfect trip
Best of the day for me
What is all of this James Hird paranoia about? Personally I’d select him immediately. He’s an outstanding candidate with great experience and knowledge. Hinkley wouldn’t compete with Hird that’s why he’s taking his precious stance. Hinkley and Simpson are trying to manipulate the process. Just make a decision…..one is yes I’m in the other is no I’m not. You can’t have it both ways by saying I’ll nominate if you delete Hirds application. I’m a Hird fan. Couldn’t give a stuff about the past (which is a whole suspicious story in itself by AFL) I’m only interested in the very best person to lift the club out of the mire and return it to respect and success - and that’s James Hird.
Kevin O'Leary says Apple's genius is making people pay 5x more for a laptop they could buy for $350
"you can buy an Apple laptop, average price about $1,800, or you can buy the same functionality for $350 on a Windows laptop"
"but you still pay $1,800. Why? Brand"
"you're paying a 5x multiple in some cases for something that is exactly like a Windows machine"
"I put that out to people, they say, yeah, but it's not an Apple. So there is the genius of Jobs"
@hamo__14@kurtjj95@Ausbloodstock@scorcherzz@JohnTheMaestro@sportsbetcomau Just for reference dopey they rang me 8 to 10 weeks ago to tell me they wanted to take me to the football into a function and told me if you own Horses will let you on up to 5000
Six winners later I get an email to tell me that I want my business
@hamo__14@JonDeeble@scorcherzz@JohnTheMaestro@sportsbetcomau I am limited due to profiting more then a regular person's yearly salary in 6 months, nothing more, nothing less. Re: smart money, yes they obviously do use it to shape odds to some extent. But in the long run, all that money is no longer welcome at said book.
@hamo__14@JonDeeble@scorcherzz@JohnTheMaestro@sportsbetcomau If your Pinnacle then yeah, rest of the industry literally copies Pin each move during price discovery. Only lines/odds that originate from other sources would be AFL, NRL, and horse racing. Also not sure if you can read, but i am limited on every book in Australia..not smart ?
@StatChiefApp Nah.
Oliver and Petracca were gonski and they thought they were bigger than the club
The likes of Kozzie from mid minutes and Sparrow have been great
Lots of the middle band stepping right up
No wonder Melbourne had the guts to let a couple of genuine champions go, they have got some seriously good young talent on the books, and most of these guys seem to be getting better by the game. Great to watch! #afldeeshawks
