I talked to a super smart 20 year old this week. All the potential in the world, but had a major major flaw in his thinking. This flaw is becoming the most common mistake I am seeing young people make early in their career. Let's break it down:

I played 6 matches and all of them i played against sweats 3 stacking pubs having 30k kills or whatsoeva, switched servers and still the same shit. Meanwhile my teammates clearly (no offence) were ass. I have more than 12k kills myself but this shit is so bad

I didn’t play it most of season 12 and now that i log in. I am matched with sweats, their only purpose is to play it all day with no life whatsoever. Public match making should be random, not with sweats having 2000+ kills within the day season is released.

Deleted @PlayApex today, tired of devs not fixing shitty match making and some shittty things which are not even addressed. Spent 1000+$ on it. Used to be my fav game. Hurts that something so good can become so shit with no vision whatsoever. Adios

@goinggodotnet Honestly, you can even write your own wrapper like await-to-js that catches error and return it like that. So it could be const [err, res] = catchify(yourFn()); In your func, you could throw errors using function yourFunc() { if (!valid) { throw } }

@hamxabaig_ Honestly, promises and await are a real bummer for me. There is a call to sign data in ethers.js and it's using a promise. This added extra complexity that was unncessary. For async things I get it, but when something isn't async in nature, why add the complexity?
