Today Roger is much calmer and above all he is pleasant and funny. When we spend the day together, we laugh from morning to night. We have a beautiful relationship together.

Roger still says today that if he hadn't had Mirka, he wouldn't have achieved what he achieved and would have quit tennis a long time ago. Roger is more thoughtful, more thoughtful than when he was 18, when he saw no obstacle and went into everything without much thought.

Mirka's father on his daughter and Roger Federer. If my memory serves me right, they met when Mirka was 17 or 18 and he was 14 or 15.  I remember, whenever Roger passed us, he lowered his head and looked incredibly shy. Even then, a spark flew between them, he said with a smile.
