🥳We're so thrilled with the response to the last 24 hours of Wreck League's web3 game launch! It means the world to us to see you all play and have fun! ⚙️We've been working on improvements based on the feedback and data we've seen and we have a couple of fixes going into the game before the tournament window at 7pm. Please note that all players will need to update the client build via our launcher. 🤝Matchmaking has not been working as intended. The matchmaking has been random when it's supposed to match you with players of similar rank (points). This is now fixed, and the system will now try to match you with someone with similar points before widening the search. Here is how the Matchmaking queue will now work: Seconds in queue Max Score Diff (+/-) 0 15 5 30 10 45 15 ∞ We will attempt to match you with someone within +/- 15 points differential, and if the match is not found in 5 seconds, it will broaden the search to +/- 30 points. If not found in the next 5 seconds then the diff is increased to 45, and then starting at 15 seconds in the queue it will broaden to include everyone regardless of score diff. This is something we'll continue to monitor throughout the tournament and modify over time 😤We've addressed an issue where if someone quit mid-match they wouldn't lose a point. Now, if someone quits mid-match, the player who did not disconnect will automatically win, receiving a point, while the person who quits will automatically lose and will lose a point. ⏰3 Play Windows for the Tournament: We are currently exploring potential changes that may involve restricting the daily entry limit to two sessions of your preference. This adjustment aims to reduce the pressure of participating in all three session windows. We should be able to share more on this early next week.
