As part of efforts to strengthen coordination and situational awareness, a joint field visit was conducted with UNHCR to displacement sites across Lebanon to assess conditions, engage with affected families, and support a more effective, needs-based humanitarian response.

This intervention aims to help address the immediate food needs of vulnerable households and alleviate the economic pressures they face following displacement, contributing to supporting their basic living conditions during this challenging period.

In one of the camps in the Saida area, several tents were damaged due to recent events, impacting the living conditions of some resident families. In response, the HAND team delivered comprehensive support to affected families by providing new tents and essential non-food items

HAND continues to work in close coordination with partners and local stakeholders to support affected communities and assist families coping with the impacts of the ongoing crisis.

In response to these urgent needs, HAND Organization is contributing to the humanitarian response by supporting efforts to alleviate the burden on affected families and improve access to essential services for displaced populations.

Amid the challenging humanitarian situation in Lebanon, mِore than 112,000 people have been displaced to collective shelters, with 514 shelters opened to accommodate families who have fled their homes in search of safety.

The intervention aims to enhance protection, improve living conditions, and strengthen the safety and resilience of affected refugee households in their current locations.

This response was implemented during the current week, and assessments and distributions will continue in the coming days to cover additional affected families, as appropriate and in line with identified needs.

The visit aimed to introduce Ms. Billing to our UNHCR-funded shelter project, with a particular focus on the high-rigidity shelter concept and its full implementation cycle, from production to installation.
