@joshsavagemusic @Benny_Groove25 @PRSforMusic @robbiewilliams There is no way to track an individual payment from an event to see when that is actually paid out in the U.K. by PRS. The commissions and fees are also extremely unclear. I think this system takes huge amounts of money from artists and keeps it unpaid. Needs a total overhaul.!!

@joshsavagemusic @Benny_Groove25 @PRSforMusic @robbiewilliams This is such an outdated system. We pay huge % of total income to international collection societies when we tour. Once the money is paid into to each venue there is no way to track that payment at all. The venue may collect all of the monies and only pay out 2 times a year.

Music royalties today are a joke and here’s why 👇🏻 18 months and I’m still waiting on my @PRSforMusic royalty cheque from opening for @robbiewilliams to 100,000 people 😅 I emailed PRS last month about it and still no reply 🤷🏻‍♂️ As an independent artist, these are crucial funds needed to cover the show’s costs and propel my career forward 🚀 This delay is typical in our current music industry model, it’s a shared struggle by ALL artists and songwriters 😭 Imagine a future where music royalties on the blockchain ensure fast, automated, and transparent payments. Who’s creating this? 👀 Over 18 months for a cheque with no arrival in sight? Surely, it’s time for a change!
