@luke_orb I fuck with that. But I also wonder how much longer would it take to execute simple and easy tasks because of the fluidity and gestures. Like typing with gestures is slow and terrible imo… so there are some things that would require some creative solutions to be truly effective

It's time for interfaces to break out of flat land. Lately, I have been experimenting with spatial experiences supported by foundational gestures. Truly feels magical.

Taste is not a personality trait. It's a function of exposure + time + iteration.

High IQ + low risk tolerance is just sophisticated procrastination. Smart people optimize for being right. Builders optimize for progress. Relentless action is the variable intelligence can’t replace.

Most people who want to build something never actually start. Not because they don't have ideas. Not because they lack the skills. Not because the timing isn't right. But because being ready is not a state you reach before you start. It's a state you create by starting.

Talk to people. Talk to people. Talk to people. If you are unsure about what you should build you haven’t talked to enough people yet. They will tell you exactly why they need if you just… talk to them.

We are moving from a production-based economy to a direction-based economy. You set a vision and you guide people and AI to achieve it.

Before trying something new, ask yourself: Am I clear about exactly what the source of the problem is? If not, you have a clarity problem. And any attempt to fix something other than this first, will only be a band-aid on an open wound. open.substack.com/pub/calletters…

Create like a child. Edit like a scientist. Don't try to improve while you create. The first draft is always messy. That's why there is a second one.

You don't need a morning routine. You just need: 1. To wake up, hydrate yourself 2. A cup of coffee and a Google Doc Before the world wakes up, it’s just you. Your thoughts. And your priority task. Don’t over complicated it.
