I bought one and put it through its paces for a couple days, so this is coming from my own personal experience. It does great on normal day to day stuff like word processing, spreadsheets, browsing. You can tell when it chokes from the 8gb RAM as you'll get little hesitance in touchpad or mouse as its reloading memory for several seconds. I only ever saw that hiccup with larger apps or even running XCode compiling. If you have to run a lot of applications all the time switching between them, get more RAM with an Air or Pro. If it's day to day normal usage, web browsing, email, or even web apps, you should run swell. It's amazing what a phone processor can do.
