@Cory_Tucek Full disclosure Cory I’m a coach at one of the smallest organizations in PAHL. When BlackBear moved in I said we need to align ourselves with a rink that cannot and will not be sold. That said adults look for “something better”.

@hankster28 The only solution currently is to try to support local rinks so they don't have to sell to them. If it gets worse I would like to think the government would get involved.

This is the face of the man trying to ruin youth hockey and bankrupt families and organisations. This man is scum. What type of scum? He owned a baby crib manufacturer that had a recall bc infants were dying in them. Black Bear hockey rinks make you join their teams, then raise the rates on every team. You are not allowed to record video in their rinks, you are required to purchase their $300 streaming service. Sidney Crosby on the other hand gives kids free equipment to grow the game.

@ClankoMedia @eliteprospects Same thing with CSSHL. Kid plays 30 games, another kid in same league has 50! Any scout/coach worth their weight doesn't even look at Elitepropects. I've known kids who have every piece of their information incorrect and others that have such padded stars it's a joke.

The Black Bear topic is one situation where every hockey fan can be united on one side. Pens and Flyers fans could pause hostilities in order to stop the destruction of youth hockey.

@MarkMaddenX Shameful that those mentioned aren’t in. I would add Mitch Korn as well. He’s done a lot for goaltenders and hockey as a whole.

Eddie Johnston should be in. Barry Melrose, too. Don Cherry. HHoF has too many guys who scored a lot of goals but nobody remembers any of those goals. Put in those who built hockey.

I don’t understand the hate on Jamie Little for her play by play. What you saw is the excitement.

@MarkMaddenX Everyone bored as hell. No Jumbotron. No mascot beating a drum. Poor souls just being forced to just watch the product on the ice.

One other comment: It’s up to the fans to create atmosphere, not the club. Anfield invented itself. The supporters, not the PA or Jumbotron dictating.
