@MegantheB + i recently saw a tweet about someone’s tiktok attempting to say “how can you be racist” and then basically confusing sexual attraction for allyship with communities which is a mindset i think a lot of fetishizers hide behind.

@MegantheB when i say asian fetishizers it’s always.. a certain demographic of people. but along with it there’s a lot of toxic body and beauty goals (mostly) girls set themselves in the name of their idols which is heartbreaking to see.

@PolariSuA_ with the influx of AI as well it’s hard to really like the art direction, but as an artist the stuff that i see in k-pop is probably the only reason i’m still a huge fan. then again they put in a lot of effort so that fans will buy multiple versions of the same album so :/

@strawberryNok the thing is i became a k-pop fan about three years ago and it wasn’t.. as bad as it is today? or it could be because i ult a certain group but because of stuff like boycotts, company interference and stuff a lot of fans stayed divided over simple morals making it really toxic
