Some took the colonial inheritance and built something impressive. What do you mean "other people's land?" The Jews who migrated to the imperial territory of Palestine bought land fair and square for sixty years. If Muslims didn't want them around they shouldn't have sold to them. Zero land was seized from anyone until Arab Muslims tried to drive the Jews into the sea in November, 1947 on the day the UN approved partition.
