A lot to celebrate tonight at our banquet & we can't thank this senior class enough. They have been incredible leaders & have set a great example for all the others. We will miss them dearly & cherish all the memories they have afforded us over the years. Thank you so much. ❤️

A couple days late, but 10 years ago (10/20/2015) Lisbon’s Carter Happel announced his commitment to the Hawkeyes. Happel was a Fargo Champ, Cadet World Team Member, 4x Iowa HS state champion, and the #1 wrestler in the state. He was and remains to this day a great guy that I’ve been fortunate to get to know during my time at @IAwrestle. Here is what he said on his commitment to Iowa back in 2015: “I have always wanted to be coached by Morningstar, it’s been one of my dreams. I remember when he went to Wisconsin for that year I was telling my parents I wanted to go there because of him. I have a good relationship with him and the Brands, I have been practicing there for two years now (Eastern Iowa Wrestling Club trains at Carver), I just feel like that’s the place for me to be. V Girls 2nd, V Boys 4th, JV Girls and Boys both finish 3rd at the CR Invite. Evelyn Moeller, Kiersten Swart, Sawyer Feldman, Caroline Rupe, Cade Happel, Connor Teague, and Brody Speidel all finish in the Top 10 in their respective races to grab some hardware. Great job MVLXC!
