@mzenpetals @lowermzen I think a big part of it is that those two won't dig, and won't care, but Ena will. She's the kind of person who does care, who wants to know, and refuses to keep her distance. The other two don't push Mizuki - but Ena does. And she needs that, and fears it.

Correction, sorry guys! I misremembered something related to Kaito existing - the movie has to end after immiscible discord but before We Escape to Survive, because Mafuyu actually does still have her laptop and I was wrong. Unfortunately, LutF is now excluded.

But also on this note if ur an ensekai reader and dont know the honorifics. Dont guess them. I cant count how many times ive seen tsukasa use “emu-chan” and “nene-chan” its painful

@minoritoya For the record, if I am wrong, then the only point where I could be wrong is that Mafuyu might still have her synth and laptop, in which case it would happen before We Escape to Survive. However I'm pretty sure there's a scene late in the movie without the laptop anywhere?

@minoritoya The movie starts with Honani already drawing on Kanade's leftovers, and ends after Mafuyu loses her laptop (Kaito is there). The absolute earliest it can end is after We Escape to Survive for that reason, and the latest it can end is just before Farewell my Mask. More in alt
