5 years ago yesterday, I released the $777 Bitcoin Angel open edition. 4,158 editions were collected in just 7 minutes, generating $3.2M in sales. What began in the frenzy of 2021 has outlived most open editions from that era. Through bull and bear markets, it kept trading, kept finding new collectors, and grew beyond a digital artwork into Castle Parties, bronze sculptures, Bitcoin Ordinals, a video game, and a lasting thread in my practice. 8 years as a crypto artist, 5 years since the angel open edition and I'm still building.
