Last week I was pulling a 100lb sled across the Arctic, trying not to wipe out on technical terrain, doing my best to avoid frostbite and polar bears too😂….this week I’m just trying to make it to the bathroom without wiping out on all these damn chemo drug tubes and cords 😂

@LifeAfloat @spookrider Think we’ve the same terranova tent, they’re very stable even in high winds but Scottish winds can be something else. If you get a freak storm that destroys your tent I’ll be happy to get mine to you. Same goes with any camping kit -I’m no use for kayaking kit,nor fancy wellies!

@spookrider True, the tent could be destroyed but it’s a case of weighing up the risks and giving myself extra space for more food and warmer clothes for the winter months.

If you’re are interested, this is what I’m ditching. Tarp, wood stove & kettle, walking boots (I’ve Nokian wellies instead), walking poles, large binoculars, reading books, bivvy bag, spare dry bags, cuddly toy. Okay, I’m jesting about the toy. I’m keeping it. 😂
