When I see a landing page not converting, I don’t start redesigning everything. I usually just fix: the headline the offer the CTA That alone can change a lot. That’s exactly how I’m building my templates too. No extra fluff. Just what actually converts.

Here’s how I quickly judge a landing page: If the headline says: “High-quality services for your needs” I already know it’s weak. I’d rewrite it to something like: “Website design for real estate agents that generates leads”

Lately I’ve been reviewing a lot of SMB landing pages. Most of them actually look good. But they still don’t convert. That’s when it clicked for me: design isn’t the main issue. Messaging is. That’s what I’m focusing on with my templates.

One small thing I always fix: “Learn More” → gone. I replace it with: “Get My Free Quote” “See Pricing” “Book a Call” The more specific it is, the more people click.

Every time I see “Welcome to our website” on a landing page… I already know it won’t convert well. When I land on a page, I’m not looking to be welcomed. I’m looking for: “Can this solve my problem?” Say that immediately or lose me.

This is the simple landing page structure I keep coming back to: Clear headline (what it is + who it’s for) Subheadline (what result they get) Proof (testimonials / numbers) Offer (what they get) CTA (one action) That’s it.

I used to think most landing pages fail because of traffic. Now I don’t. Most of the time, it’s just lack of clarity. If I land on a page and I can’t instantly tell: - what it is - who it’s for - why I should care I leave. No second chances.

Same product. Different awareness = different message. If it’s not converting, you’re probably speaking to the wrong stage.

Your homepage isn’t there to impress and it’s there to move people. Clarity > cleverness. Direction > decoration.

Most websites fail at one thing: clarity. Not more features. Not more design. Just clarity. Fix your UX → watch conversions follow.

Most landing pages fail because they don’t guide the user. A high-converting page follows a clear flow: hook with a strong headline, agitate the problem, present value, add proof, make the offer, and close with a clear CTA.

Small tweaks make big differences. Clear beats vague, one CTA beats many, proof beats claims, fast beats slow, whitespace beats clutter, niche beats generic. Details shape outcomes.

Simple funnels beat random tactics. Turn cold traffic into buyers with a clear path: traffic source → landing page → lead magnet → email sequence → core offer → upsell. Structure wins every time.
