R.I.P. to Willard Scott. He hosted a reboot of a talent show (similar to American Idol / Star Search) on the Family Channel that I performed on as a teenager! I have fond memories of meeting him and filming at Universal Studios in Orlando.

@zachfinkelstein Because Denyce Graces is an extremely well known and loved singer who sells tickets, and - I having no experience with Mr. Roumain, so my bias is showing - the composer is probably the less well known of the two. If the company has to make a choice, they will choose ticket sales.

@TeamYouTube Hi, I'm a classical harpist and created my channel on DEC 10. Last night, I moved my channel to a "Brand Account," and everything seemed fine. I only have 2 videos - of songs in the public domain. Now it says "channel does not exist." No emails...help? #youtube #yt

@linto_john @TeamYouTube I will say, as an update on my end: my videos and content seem to be back today. There was no warning from YouTube that it could take more than 24 hours for their servers to update, but it seems to be working now. I hope they are able to help you with your issue!

I was changing my personal YouTube account into a "brand account" and i have lost all my videos, playlist and subscribers. Waiting on @YouTube @YouTubeIndia for support...

@TeamYouTube Someone from your team should already be helping me (they tweeted a reply to me yesterday). This is what I'm seeing after following the instructions to "move channel to a Brand account":

@TeamYouTube Yes, but what is the point of transferring it if all of the content gets deleted? I created a new Brand channel, following the instructions under "move your channel." It made me delete that channel as part of the process of "moving" everything.

@TeamYouTube @linto_john What is the point of transferring everything to a Brand account, if nothing actually gets transferred, and it all gets deleted? You guys seriously need to address this workflow. People are losing content and sleep over this. (It happened to me, too). @YouTube #YouTube @Google

@linto_john Appreciate the follow up – if you transfer your channel to a new Brand Account, all of its contents (including videos, custom URL, comments, etc.) won't be carried over to the new one and will be deleted. Learn more: yt.be/help/KHjM. Hope this helps clarify.

@TeamYouTube *Please* don't delete my Google account...I'm only asking about YouTube, as it tells me this "Nadia, Pessoa, Harpist account doesn't exist, but on the Google Acct. backend, it looks like it does. THANK YOU!!

@TeamYouTube Please do not do anything with that other (unrelated) channel - I am a brand manager for a channel at work that has nothing to do with this conversation. My concern here is the "Nadia Pessoa, Harpist" channel with 21 subs that's 3 weeks old. Thank you.

@TeamYouTube The original account & brand account should be merged, because I created a "new" brand account and moved my personal one to it (following the instructions in a YouTube video), and when it said an account would be deleted, I made sure it was the one with "0 videos, 0 subscribers"
