Here's what I discovered in a client's workflow... Tasks were being assigned through WhatsApp. Important files were scattered across different folders and most of them were even sent through DMs. Deadlines were told verbally and just lived in people's heads. And follow-ups happened only when someone remembered. It seemed like everyone was working hard but the work wasn't working. At first glance, it looked like a productivity problem to me. But I found out that It wasn't. It was a systems problem rather. -The team had no central place to manage tasks. -No documented process. -No visibility into who was responsible for what -No way to track progress without asking multiple people. So I started with the basics. 1. Created a centralized task management system 2. Ensured clear ownership of responsibilities 3. Created standardized workflows 4. Tracked the progress of all tasks 5. Organized documentation with necessary access controls in place. And the result after 3 weeks? Less confusion. Fewer missed tasks. Better accountability. And a team that could spend more time executing instead of searching for information. One thing I've learned is this: Most businesses don't need more tools. They just need better systems for using the tools they already have. If your business feels chaotic despite everyone working hard, the issue may not be your team. It may be your workflow. . . What's one process in your business that feels more complicated than it should?

A lot of Nigerians don't have an income problem. They have a habit problem, in fact a very bad habit and that's the honest truth. Some of you will get a salary increase and immediately increase your expenses. You buy a new gadget. Move to a more expensive apartment. Indulge yourself in more enjoyment (as if you've been suffering 🙄) But your savings? Remains the same. Investments? Zero. Emergency fund? Non-existent. Keep playing. You really don't need to earn millions before acting wealthy. Because wealth is not what you spend. It's what you keep, grow, and protect. The people who build wealth quietly often look "normal" long before they even look rich to you and I. Who are you even trying to impress? 😏 Lemme ask you a simple question: What wealth habit are you building now that you are receiving small sense?

The main reason some of you are so desperate to know the identity of Alex Ekubo’s wife is so you can monitor her every move not because you care about her. You want to know if she’s grieving “enough” by your standards. You want to keep tabs on what she posts, what she wears, where she goes, and who she’s seen with. Then, the moment she starts trying to live her life again, some of you will be the first to drag her and come up with the most bizarre takes imaginable. These days, everything is content, everything is gist, and everyone feels entitled to an opinion about things that have absolutely nothing to do with them. Nothing is allowed to be personal anymore. Nothing is sacred. Sometimes the kindest thing you can do is respect people’s boundaries.

Ladies, your husband refuses to eat the food you made over a small misunderstanding and goes to bed hungry. As a good wife, what will you do?

@swiftphyresh Oh nice. It's actually a profitable skill. If you want to stick with customer support and niche, it's totally fine. Businesses need professional customer support reps always

A lot of people hear "Virtual Assistant" and immediately think: "So... assistant to who?" 😅 Let me simplify it. A Virtual Assistant (VA) helps businesses, entrepreneurs, and busy professionals with tasks that keep things running smoothly. This could be you managing emails, scheduling meetings, customer support, research, data entry, social media support Think of a VA as the person helping behind the scenes so others can focus on the bigger picture. And no, you don't need to know coding to become one. It's actually one of the most beginner-friendly digital skills for people who are organised, reliable, and good at communication. Have you ever considered becoming a Virtual Assistant? Tell me why or why not in the comments.

One of my biggest fears is dating someone who will post me on social media, and then cheat on me. Making me a famous fool.

One of the strangest things about being a young professional in Nigeria is having a job, dressing well, leaving home every morning and still calculating whether you can afford chicken.
