But this money wasn’t spent only this season, so it disregards winning a trophy and 2 champions league qualifications due to our money spent. - His strongest argument here is our current league position, yet this can change drastically until the end of the season. Where we now have less games and a good run in. Still not good enough yet, but context matters. Again he has fair points, I doubt anyone would say there are any positives from this season, but that all it is, 1 season.
