With only three List A matches in his career thus far, 21-year-old Saad Masood is making his debut for Pakistan in One Day Internationals. He is extremely talented is true. In those appearances he has scored 57 runs at an average of 28.50, with a highest score of 44 and a strike rate of 126.70, in addition to claiming one wicket at an average of 113.00. While he is undoubtedly talented, the question remains: what is the urgency in exposing such an inexperienced player at the highest level so soon? The other debutant is Ghazi Ghori, who has played 17 List A matches, scoring 206 runs at an average of 20.60 with a strike rate of 79.53 & one half-century. As a wicketkeeper he has taken 17 catches & three stumpings. Selecting him as a specialist batsman appears to reflect a paucity of options and a lack of strategic vision from the selectors. What was the compulsion? Injury list? Then why a specialist batsman wasn’t selected considering someone at the top order could get injured? By contrast, 22-year-old Haseebullah Khan, who has already represented Pakistan in two ODIs and three T20 Internationals, has been overlooked despite clearly being part of the national plans. His domestic record is substantial: 60 List A matches, an average of 45.20, nine centuries, 11 half-centuries, and a strike rate of 87.08, alongside 46 catches & five stumpings. Yet he has reportedly been omitted on the basis that his recent form was not sufficiently eye-catching. By comparison, Ghazi Ghori’s notable performances have come primarily in first-class cricket, where he has scored 40, 67, and 128 in eight innings across five matches last season. Another notable omission is Rohail Nazir, arguably among the finest wicketkeepers available. In addition to 52 first-class matches, he has played 59 List A matches, averaging 33.80 with a strike rate of 85.01, including two centuries and 10 half-centuries, along with 56 catches and six stumpings. With the inclusion of Saad Masood and Ghazi Ghori, Pakistan have now tested 35 debutants respectively in their last 35 One Day Internationals. Remarkably, 21 of those players were subsequently removed from the system after playing six matches or fewer. All of this occurs under a selection panel that includes Aaqib Javed (22 Tests), Asad Shafiq (77 Tests), Sarfraz Ahmed (54 Tests), and Misbah-ul-Haq (75 Tests). Strange? The pressing question therefore remains: where is the consistency in selection & planning? @iRashidLatif68 @ShahzadIqbalGEO @krick3r @AbdurRoufKhan6

Absolutely Pathetic captaincy by Salman Ali Agha - Why did you remove Tariq from bowling and give more time to Brook to settle against Saim & Shadab... They don't have a plan to get a wicket of Brook. He is middling every ball on its merit #PAKvsENG

I genuinely fail to understand how Babar Azam still finds a place in this T20 side and Faheem Ashraf doesn’t.

🚨 Claude Opus 4.6 is insanely powerful. But 90% of people are using it like ChatGPT. That’s crazy. I’ve spent months testing it for: • Automation workflows • Agent building • Research • Content systems • Business ops And the difference between “basic prompts” and elite prompts is night and day. So I’m giving away my 500 Mega Prompts List for Claude Opus 4.6. These are the exact prompts I use to: → Automate repetitive tasks → Build AI agents → Generate high-leverage content → Analyze data like a consultant → Save 10+ hours per week No fluff. Just plug-and-play frameworks. If you want it: Comment “Send” I’ll DM it to you. 🔥
