PART TIMER! Thank you for the kind messages earlier this week. I'm stepping back a bit from the radio 📻 @bbcmerseyside. My decision, no fall outs, no disagreement and most certainly no 'oh woe is me!'
Started at 19 I'm now 61. That's it really, you've been very kind 🙏
@TheGaryLambert I got hit on the head by a Mars bar at this game, thrown by our own fans. This was also Paul Alcock 1st game back after the Paolo di Canio shove. He was all over the place.
Couldn't believe we won
One of my favourite things at Goodison is the notice written on the turnstiles. It’s so brilliantly old fashioned - and the awkward placing of P A R K and squeezed “TO” makes it even more beautiful. In the era of concrete and steel, this is soulful.
Leaving Sandhills yesterday and saw a young lad with his dad carrying a cardboard cutout of the FA Cup covered in tin foil. My 22 year old turns to me and said, you know I always wanted you to make me one of those

@Scorgie_95@DLTKMW You fellas familiar with the work of Saul Leiter? Used windows in a lot of his street photography as well as doorframes, car windows, railings etc. Fantastic stuff
Got a roll in the Pentax, 36 exposures but it's half frame and I'm finding shooting 72 exposures quite daunting. It nice and economical on holiday. Spoke to somebody else who has one and they only put rolls of 24 through it
“The People in the Street Support Everton”
My project for this year is to take an @Everton-related photo in every L postcode. Whether it’s street photography, candid portraiture, or creating an image somehow.

@TheGaryLambert I was driving and listening to that game on 5 Live. As the Shrewsbury winner went in I went through a red light and saw the flash of a traffic camera in my rear view mirror. Happy memories
