Re: Brooks Trade After the news that the Cowboys are discussing a trade for him internally as I said on @PhinsideTheNFL, it feels like Achane and Brewer getting restructured is setting them up for extensions this summer while Brooks is not. I don’t expect a day 2 pick unless you package Brooks with a day 3 pick because Brooks wants new money. As far as Sullivan naming Brooks as part of the core after he arrived here, in the great words of Ted DiBiase “everybody has a price” and if Achane does, you can bet so does Brooks. #PhinsUp

Achane told me in November that he would like an extension instead of playing out 2026 on rookie contract. Sullivan has said extension talks will come later in offseason with a few players. (Brooks, Brewer are the obvious others.)

@CarlosVoltron @MetsMuse Terrible? 2 years ago he had the same number of HR as the much younger Nimmo. Last season his numbers were down because he didn't play in at least 159 games for 6 consecutive seasons due to a freak injury that could have happened to any player.
