Today is the last day of the Income Tax Act 1961. A 65 year old law dies tonight. From tomorrow your salary slip changes. Your basic salary must be minimum 50 percent of your CTC. Companies kept it artificially low for years to reduce your PF. That ends tonight. Your PF goes up. Take home may drop slightly. Retirement corpus grows significantly. If you resign your company must settle full and final within 2 working days. Not 30 to 90 days like before. Form 16 is replaced by Form 130. Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune and Ahmedabad now get 50 percent HRA exemption. Same as Mumbai and Delhi. Tax slabs unchanged. Surveillance gets tighter. Tomorrow I will break down exactly what this means for your pocket. Save this. Share with every salaried man you know.

When I was consulting for @HBO Silicon Valley, zero-loss compression was the holy grail Richard Hendricks chases that perfect middle-out algo could shrink everything w/out breaking a single bit. Google just did something even more practical for the AI era: TurboQuant compresses LLM key-value caches down to 3 bits per value using random orthogonal rotation + PolarQuant scalar quantization & optional 1-bit QJL residual correction. =>> 6× memory reduction, up to 8× faster attention (on H100), & 0 degradation on LongBench, Needle-in-a-Haystack, and RULER for models like Gemma. No retraining, no calibration needed. Fiction just got out-engineered by reality. 😅💚💚

Introducing TurboQuant: Our new compression algorithm that reduces LLM key-value cache memory by at least 6x and delivers up to 8x speedup, all with zero accuracy loss, redefining AI efficiency. Read the blog to learn how it achieves these results: goo.gle/4bsq2qI

🚨 Do you understand what just happened.. the owner of OnlyFans just died at 43.. Leonid Radvinsky.. the man made $3 billion off a platform where other people sell themselves.. he took 20% of every transaction.. every video.. every message.. every tip.. while creators fought algorithms and chargebacks and deplatforming threats just to make rent.. he sat at the top collecting a cut of their bodies.. and everyone called him a "tech founder".. the man wasn't a tech founder.. he was the most successful middleman in history.. and the wildest part.. OnlyFans was profitable from day one.. no VC money.. no IPO.. because when your business model is taking a fifth of what someone earns from their own skin.. you don't need investors.. you need creators desperate enough to not ask questions.. he had $3 billion and still couldn't beat cancer at 43.. what exactly are we all racing toward.

this story is absolutely insane 🤯 > tech guy with zero biology background. > his dog got terminal cancer. > vets said 1 - 6 months left. > bro said nah not on my watch. > asked ChatGPT for a treatment plan. > sequenced tumor DNA for $3k. > used AlphaFold AI to model mutated proteins. > designed world’s first personalized mRNA vaccine for a dog. > partnered with universities to synthesize it. > ethics approval took 3 months. > vaccine design took 2 months. > first injection December 2025. > tumors shrank 75% within weeks. > dog happy. > universities confirmed it worked. > now designing version 2 for remaining tumor. AI + a guy determined to save his dog just outperformed the pharma industry 💀 the cure for cancer will be open source.
vittorio@IterIntellectus

this is actually insane > be tech guy in australia > adopt cancer riddled rescue dog, months to live > not_going_to_give_you_up.mp4 > pay $3,000 to sequence her tumor DNA > feed it to ChatGPT and AlphaFold > zero background in biology > identify mutated proteins, match them to drug targets > design a custom mRNA cancer vaccine from scratch > genomics professor is “gobsmacked” that some puppy lover did this on his own > need ethics approval to administer it > red tape takes longer than designing the vaccine > 3 months, finally approved > drive 10 hours to get rosie her first injection > tumor halves > coat gets glossy again > dog is alive and happy > professor: “if we can do this for a dog, why aren’t we rolling this out to humans?” one man with a chatbot, and $3,000 just outperformed the entire pharmaceutical discovery pipeline. we are going to cure so many diseases. I dont think people realize how good things are going to get

imagine you’re Travis Kalanick you built Uber from nothing into a $70 billion company and changed how every city on earth moves then in the worst three weeks of your life, family tragedies hit, and five of your investors hand you a letter demanding you resign so you step down the board replaces you, your successor and board sell off the self driving division you created, the thing you believed was Uber’s entire future gone $4 billion to Aurora the mainstream media tries to write your obituary: toxic culture, bad leadership, and a cautionary tale silicon valley moves on as they always do but you don’t you don’t really forget you go quiet, completely quiet you take $150 million and buy a ghost kitchen company called CloudKitchens you raise over a billion dollars, hit a $15 billion valuation, build a company with thousands of employees and nobody even knows the name eight years in stealth, employees aren’t even allowed to put your company on their LinkedIn then today you rename the company Atoms, and it’s not a kitchen company anymore it’s a robotics company 1. food 2. mining 3. transport your first move? acquiring Pronto the autonomous vehicle startup built by Anthony Levandowski, the same engineer you originally swooped away from Google to build Uber’s self driving program oh and he went on to deploy 100+ autonomous trucks for one of the largest materials companies on earth now he’s coming back to work with you and the reports say Uber itself the same company that pushed you out, is now backing you to go after self driving harder than Waymo the guy they removed is the guy they end up needing poetic justice your framework aka everything in civilization is mined or grown, manufactured and moved you call it the golden age your manifesto ends with three words: “I never left” eight years of silence then this but here’s what people keep getting wrong about your situation everyone wants to call it a comeback or a revenge story it’s neither you just went quiet and built for eight years while everyone who wrote you off had stopped paying attention that’s not revenge, that’s just what true builder obsession looks like most founders would’ve stayed bitter most would’ve written a book and done a podcast tour, most would’ve taken the $2.5 billion in shares and disappeared off to a beach or Epstein’s island you didn’t do any of that you just kept building and now the same people who pushed you out need you again so whether you love him or hate him the most dangerous person in any room is the one who goes quiet yet never stops building karma is real welcome back Travis

🚨 Perplexity just made every AI company look stupid with one announcement. They're shipping a Mac mini that never turns off. You plug it in, leave it on, and it works through your files, apps, emails, calendar, 24 hours a day. While you sleep, while you eat, while you're on vacation, it's working. > A full-time employee with a power cord sitting next to your coffee mug with no salary, no sick days, no meetings about meetings. > Your company pays you $80K a year to work 8 hours a day, 5 days a week. Perplexity just offered them something that works 24/7 and probably costs less than your monthly health insurance. But the part that gave me chills is the name. They called it "Personal Computer." The last time someone used that name was IBM in 1981. That machine killed typewriters, killed secretaries, killed filing clerks, killed an entire generation of office jobs. They didn't call this an "assistant" or a "copilot." They named it after the thing that already replaced millions of jobs once before. Same name. Same playbook. Different body count. And they know exactly what they're doing.
Perplexity@perplexity_ai

Announcing Personal Computer. Personal Computer is an always on, local merge with Perplexity Computer that works for you 24/7. It's personal, secure, and works across your files, apps, and sessions through a continuously running Mac mini.

Microsoft just partnered with Anthropic to launch an AI that can run office work for you and replace millions of office jobs >It’s called Copilot Cowork. >You describe the outcome you want. >The system converts that into a step-by-step execution plan. >It pulls information from your emails, meetings, files, and chats. >Then it executes tasks across Outlook, Teams, Excel, and PowerPoint. >It can build meeting decks, research companies, and prepare reports. >It can reorganize calendars and schedule meetings automatically. >It keeps working in the background until the task is complete. Microsoft 365 has 400M+ users. For the first time, those workers might have an AI that can actually do their job.
Satya Nadella@satyanadella

Announcing Copilot Cowork, a new way to complete tasks and get work done in M365. When you hand off a task to Cowork, it turns your request into a plan and executes it across your apps and files, grounded in your work data and operating within M365’s security and governance boundaries.

- be openclaw - built as a side project and open sourced for fun ( Clawdbot) - github explodes - anthropic steps in. it gets renamed to openclaw - openai acquires it - anthropic, perplexity and everyone else start shipping their own versions - now openclaw is ahead of react and linux on github. Let that sink in.
OpenClaw🦞@openclaw

We just passed React on GitHub stars. 🦞 Let that sink in. A personal AI assistant built by a lobster-obsessed Austrian and an army of crustacean enthusiasts just outstarred the library that powers half the internet. We shipped 90+ changes today. They shipped a conference.

When you speak to Gemini, your audio is recorded, compressed, sent to a massive data center often in the US/Singapore, processed by 1000s of GPUs, & sent back. If your internet lags for a sec, the translation breaks. Sarvam’s Edge models run entirely on your phone's hardware w/o an internet connection. It is a 294MB micro model that matches the accuracy of Gemini’s multi tb cloud models. Also, it means even a farmer in a dead zone in rural Bihar can have a live, private conversation with a doc in Chennai with zero data costs & zero latency.
Sumanth Raman@sumanthraman

I saw the Sarvam AI video demo of live translation. Sorry for sounding stupid but #Gemini has been doing live audio translation in Indian languages for a long time. Am I missing something here? Live audio translation is not exactly new. I know #Sarvam is Indian built but apart from that is there anything new in this technology? Can anyone explain?
