Today is the last day of the Income Tax Act 1961.
A 65 year old law dies tonight.
From tomorrow your salary slip changes.
Your basic salary must be minimum 50 percent of your CTC. Companies kept it artificially low for years to reduce your PF. That ends tonight.
Your PF goes up. Take home may drop slightly. Retirement corpus grows significantly.
If you resign your company must settle full and final within 2 working days. Not 30 to 90 days like before.
Form 16 is replaced by Form 130.

🚨 Perplexity just made every AI company look stupid with one announcement.
They're shipping a Mac mini that never turns off. You plug it in, leave it on, and it works through your files, apps, emails, calendar, 24 hours a day. While you sleep, while you eat, while you're on vacation, it's working.

I saw the Sarvam AI video demo of live translation. Sorry for sounding stupid but #Gemini has been doing live audio translation in Indian languages for a long time. Am I missing something here? Live audio translation is not exactly new. I know #Sarvam is Indian built but apart from that is there anything new in this technology? Can anyone explain?
