Every founder leaves his DNA when he builds. The picture reflects his or her vision of the world.

Optionality vs One Big Win. I always like optionality because I get many shots at success. I'm ok reaching goals with a higher probability of success even if I'm slower to make it to the finish line.

The more I read about Elon Musk, the more I realize that he didn't know how things would shape up. He had a vague idea of what interested him, what he wanted to do with his time and money (have an impact), and the rest of the picture got chiseled as he solved problems. @elonmusk

I don't think you can feel strong without lifting some weights. And that feeling is cantagious.

Dear restaurants and cafés, it won’t hurt to add “protein shake” in the shake section. Sell it for 250₹ per shake but please add it. Send this tweet to a cafe owner you know.

@harshbatra Yes, Harsh. Sorry for the delay in response. I, an 86 yr old, had to go to my cardiologist and returned only now. He has enough time for me only on Sundays, that too at his home. A routine for more than 20 yrs. Where are you located? England, the USA, or India? I wonder.

@JosePuliampatta Amazing! Enjoying others success vicariously is a high! By the way I was a professional cricketer at 17. I played in England as an opening batsman. This was before there was any IPL or money in the sport. In another life I would have made a living playing the sport.

@harshbatra Harsha was our student at IIMA. Finished his MBA in May 1985. Even while with us he had a good sense of humour. His first coverage of a Test match was when he was in his 2nd year MBA. We allowed him to miss his classes. Never regretted. We get vicarious pleasure from his success.

No wonder, my dad used to insist on us children reciting all the (1) alphabets, (2) numbers, (3) days of the week, and (4) the 12 months both forwards & backward fast and comfortably.

Counting backwards from 100 and visualising each number with each breath is one way to learn how to focus. The mind will wander and you will learn to bring it back to the number and the breath. It's an excellent exercise. Some call it meditation.

We tend to experience loss up to 4x greater than what we gain. It is in our DNA to see change and uncertainty as threatening.

The mind is always searching for something to solve. The next worry. The next task. The next milestone. How do we make it still? Being in the present, problem solving one thing at a time, is also a skill.
