Thank you @madam_selkie for bringing @patricktresset ’s “Seven Traits” to my attention and congratulations on your gallery’s inaugural release! The gallery describes this collection as Tresset’s most experimental body of digital work to date. It comprises 98 artworks. Each is a collaboration between two AI agents exploring the Seven Deadly Sins through animated and still pieces. I’m personally fascinated by the creative process: Patrick set up two AI agents—one as storyteller, the other as illustrator. Find out more in the post I quoted below!

Gm I’ve added this piece from Seven Traits by @patricktresset to my collection. ‘Greed #04.s’ I chose not to read the story created by the AI agents just yet. For a few days now I’ve been sitting with this piece and imagining why the models decided to interpret greed in this way. Is it an allusion to our predatory fishing ways over the last half a century? Certainly looks that way. Is it just simply the story of one greedy fisherman? It could be. What attracted me to this piece? The lines, the colours, the geometric landscape, the shapeless sun and the lonely figure with their fishing haul. And the knowledge that this is a machine’s interpretation of a very human trait.

Love this @patricktresset interview with @RtClick_Save published in January “After years spent using systems to distance myself from the process, I noticed an absence in the drawings: me. While that had actually been my original aim, I decided it was time to put myself back in.” rightclicksave.com/article/drawin…

Worth adding that @patricktresset is also an OG of this space. Minted his first works on @tezos on Hic et Nunc in 2021 and many more since. ‘Seven Traits’ is Patrick’s first comprehensive collection on ETH and his most experimental body of digital work yet, marking a new period in his practice.

Dear @RadrTek 🙏 for collecting the piece and the lovely thread... Here is the text that goes with Pride #03.a A majestic mountain range emerges under a vast sky, establishing the grand stage for our fable on pride. At the foot of the grandest peak, a solitary figure begins its arduous climb, a testament to ambition against the colossal silence. Driven by an unseen force, the figure begins its steady ascent, its path marked by the echo of each step against the mountain's face. As the climber ascends, a heavy, glittering crown appears upon its head, a burgeoning symbol of the pride it carries with each step towards the summit. As the figure ascends with its crown of pride, the sun in the sky seems to answer, glowing brighter, reflecting the grand ambition unfolding below. High on an adjacent peak, an ancient eagle watches the crowned climber, its silent gaze a timeless commentary on earthly ambition. With each step upward, the crown of pride seems to swell, growing heavier upon the climber's head, an increasing burden yet a coveted symbol. Nearing the summit, the climber's crown has expanded to an immense, unwieldy size, making each final step a precarious dance with its own burgeoning glory. At the very apex, the colossal crown of pride overwhelms the climber, its weight threatening to topple them from their hard-won, precarious perch. At the peak's precarious edge, the monstrous crown of pride, too heavy to bear, slips from the climber's head, beginning its tumble down the mountain's face. Released from the crown's crushing weight, the climber, too, loses balance, tumbling from the summit, a stark descent from the heights of pride. At the mountain's base, the figure and the shattered crown come to rest, a silent testament to the fall that follows towering pride. And so, the tale of 'l'orgueil' concludes, fading into the mountain's memory, leaving only the quiet echoes of ambition's rise and fall. The echoes of pride's ascent and fall have faded, leaving a blank canvas awaiting new tales of humanity's quirks and cosmic lessons.

Collected on @hash_gallery! Pride #0.3.a from Seven Traits by @patricktresset (collab with two AI agents🕵️). The process animation mirrors the classical allegory of Pride: elevation, excess, and downfall. But I want to draw your attention to the bird🐦‍⬛ on the hill.🧵👇
