FAIL ALERT. User found a bug and cancelled subscription ❌ 🥵 Yesterday I reached out to a paying user who bought a subscription. But cancelled almost immediately after purchase. Their reason for cancellation in Stripe: "Too expensive" But I figured that there had to be more to it. Sent an email and asked what went wrong. turns out they ran into an issue with the software They tried to transcribe a longer than usual video and it caused a crash. I shipped a fix within few hours and got this email in response. ✅ let's see if they renew 💸 Current MRR: ~$100 Streak: 4 days of sales 🔥

day 2/100 of buildinpublic. today I got X premium not to show off I got it because I’m finally taking content seriously I want to build trust, avoid limits, document the journey, and meet smart people along the way. for a second, I got genuinely excited. feels like a small step… but maybe small steps compound. you know there are days when you just don’t feel like working at all not because you’re lazy but because your brain just needs a pause i got stuck on the buying flow of my plugin kept thinking about it over and over but nothing was really moving so i stepped away for a bit spent time with friends let my brain rest tried to just exist without constantly thinking about the next thing and somehow those few days turned into almost a week i tend to overthink a lot and i always have multiple things running in my head at once which just makes it harder to come back sometimes but yeah!! i think i needed that pause starting again today
