@CrimsonDesert_ Unfortunately, I can't find any indication anywhere that the screen tearing issue on the Xbox has finally been fixed. For some reason, VRR doesn't work properly on the Xbox, because when you disable V-sync, the image tears badly... EVEN THOUGH VRR IS ENABLED

#CrimsonDesert patch Version 1.00.03 is rolling out. This patch includes some of the improvements and fixes we were able to prepare first, including changes based on your feedback, like the addition of a Storage at Howling Hill and the beginning of improvements to keyboard and mouse controls. @analistadebits Unfortunately, the Quality Mode on the Xbox Series X suffers from severe screen tearing. The image tears very badly, especially in cities and buildings. Both in-game VSYNC and VRR on my TV are enabled... Unfortunately, that doesn't help. I hope this gets fixed.

@TheRealZephryss Since we still haven't seen anything from the standard PS5 and XSX versions, I'm still extremely skeptical about the quality of those versions. I'd like to buy the XSX version, since that's my main platform But I might end up getting the PS5 Pro version after all.

@GermanStrands I always pick Quality, it's easy to adapt to 30fps after a few minutes

If you had to choose between Performance Mode (better FPS) and Quality Mode (better graphics), which would you pick?

@GermanStrands I can't make a blanket statement—it always depends on the game. If it's just the resolution that's reduced, I'm happy to use Performance Mode. But if there are compromises in terms of vegetation, texture quality, and overall level of detail, then I'd rather play at 30 fps.
