Good morning to everyone except my downstairs neighbour who hacked an animal carcass to pieces in the hallway at 6am.

My dad told me yesterday that he has recently discovered that history "isn't just kings and queens" and can also include things during your lifetime. I have a history degree but it turns out I have no tact as I openly laughed at him.

I’m an American but very accustomed to British spelling and newspaper style. I don’t flinch when adding a “u” in words like “labour” or saying “in future” instead of “in the future”. But when I typed out this line I did have to pause for a moment and think about my life

@hatapota If you have an oven keep the skin and dry it. It smells wonderful

I'm not one for regrets, but telling the lady at the fruit stall last night that I didn't need her to open/cut my pomelo was a terrible mistake.

@thisischaniece It's a crêpe! Super easy to make and you can put whatever you like in there. Plus if you make it yourself at home you can practice flipping the pancake in the air, which is endless fun (unless you get one stuck on the ceiling).
