@Nozushii the only tekken that tried to realistic was tekken 4 but because of the reception (which is justified) they went off the rails with tekken 5 and been takin that train every since then

Tekken was never “realistic” and people saying it is when Yoshi, Alisa, Kunimitsu, and Heihachi exist is insane. Devil Jin is allowed to shoot lasers, Alisa is allowed to have unlimited heads, and Kunimitsu is allowed to literally teleport, but when there is a Tekken original character with dark wave everyone goes insane, it’s just bias. What I care about is balance and fun. Eliza was a cool unique innovative idea for the Tekken series where you got to learn about some 2d mechanics and playing her required learning multiple challenging skill-sets to be optimal. Tekken players just complain about the wrong things and can’t see past bias to see that something can work.
