2024 Sports in Kansas All-Classes & 3A Coach of the Year: Cassie Rhuems of Frontenac led the Raiders to the 3A state title with a 28-2 record. Rhuems has created a state power and dynasty in Frontenac with four state 🥎titles since 2016 (2016, 2019, 2022, 2024). Just how good was 3A Frontenac? The Raiders are one of the best teams in Kansas regardless of classification. Frontenac defeated state powerhouse Silver Lake in the state championship 3-0. Silver Lake had wins over the 2024 6A state champion Olathe Northwest and a split with 4A state champion Wamego. Northwest split with the 5A champion Carroll. Frontenac had two losses this season, one of those coming to 7A Arkansas state champion Bentonville. Frontenac also defeated the 2A Missouri champion, Diamond, 10-0. #sportsinkansas
