So my youngest son is in iso at his gf house bc her dad has tested +. So proud of his maturity,he was to return to work Monday- construction industry. He is offering to contribute his share of food,etc despite being an apprentice. Now @JoshFrydenberg is cutting C19 assistance 🤬

@helen_e_sayer @MelissaLDavey Agreed- even if you cannot live at home, you can share over solo rent.And living for the goal over living where it’s trendy- rents in highly sought after ‘burbs are bound to be higher.Cannot have it all at once is what my son says of his friends who want upmarket places to rent,

@MelissaLDavey My 23 yr old son is a carpenter. Saved while an apprentice. Bought his first home last year when he became fully qualified. He lived at home but paid board. He took his lunch every day to save but still managed to holiday and buy 2 cars in cash. It can be done, with a clear goal

@MelissaLDavey 21 yo adult apprentice son. Lives with us- spends next to nothing. Saves $500pw- bc he wants ‘to live a quiet life on his own farm’ if you want it bad enough you can make it happen. Plus he doesn’t go out partying even pre C19. If he was out of home- he says he’d share a rental

Tomorrow I’m opening my first grocery store in a Title One school. I doubt I sleep tonight - imagine a parent between checks who can order dinner and breakfast for their family thru our app and their child bring it home. I’m changing lives man, no one does it like me. Just wait!
