Ok guys, one more Ibiza post, but this one is meant to be public appreciation for @Figgie 🧡👑 Aside from all the amazing VIP parties, art talks, seeing apes from all over the world again … one of the biggest highlights of the trip for me was meeting Figge in person and getting to chat with him properly. And I have to say: he is EXACTLY as kind and genuine as he seems online. Maybe even more. Completely down to earth. Zero weird corporate CEO energy. Zero ego. Just fully present with the community the entire time, making sure apes had access to exclusive events, checking everything was running smoothly, talking to everyone … I don’t think the man managed to get himself a single drink all weekend because of endless selfies 😂 Gordon and Garga probably relate to that more than anyone else. I think every ape who met CEO Figge in Ibiza or LA will relate when I say he somehow makes you feel like you personally matter to the Club or like he’s your cousin or something that you only met once or twice when you were kids but then suddenly connect instantly with after all these years like you’ve actually grown up together! I swear I have biological cousins with whom I barely have anything in common! And then there was this random impromptu dinner one night before we all headed to the big party, which he so generously treated us to. Somehow he managed to collect 25+ chaotic apes and get everyone seated at the same table in a busy Ibiza restaurant at like 1am as if it was nothing 😎 just magic! I also really loved talking to him about normal life outside Web3. Family, kids, everyday stuff. You can instantly tell he’s a genuinely good human and an amazing dad. His kids must absolutely love having “Bored Ape CEO” as the answer on career day at school 😂 All in all, I left Ibiza feeling incredibly optimistic about Yuga and ridiculously lucky (as always) to be part of this weird, beautiful and unique cult… sorry, I mean community 😉 Thank you, Figge, for everything. Under your leadership, the future of the Yugaverse feels seriously exciting. Big love 🧡🧡🧡 P.s. you did great not leaking any alpha about anything to anyone but seriously tho, WEN Apefest? Where Apefest? 👀😂

5/ Lastly, the "infamous" hat. I absolute LOVE that BAYC decided to do a limited edition piece! If you know the history of the club and merchandise from the early days, you’ll remember the very first drop was limited-run (e.g. 60 red jockey hats dropped in May 2021) and today these are among the most desirable collectables in the club. It’s literally the closest thing to “OG BAYC vibes” that we’ve seen in recent years. I've been here 5 years and still managed to miss out on those drops, but I'm not complaining. In fact, I've dropped thousands over the years (likely to @nullhl 😅) to acquire these GRAILS. I call it paying a "culture tax" and I think it's so bullish that these pieces are so desireable. I love that they thought to bring back this feeling of scarcity and collector culture. And for that, I am so thankful. 🙏🙏
